Mimmi is a Research Scientist in Immunology and Chemistry.
Her research interests are focused on innate immune activation and memory. Methods to date have involved in vitro cellular studies combined with synthetic chemistry to understanding of how molecular structure dictates such innate immune responses. Analytical techniques include RT-PCR, ELISA, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and Seahorse.
Mimmi has a Molecular Biology degree from Lund University in Sweden, a MSc in Immunology and a PhD in Immunology and Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland.
