David is a leading personalised sports nutrition platform that helps athletes optimise performance through intelligent, data-driven fuelling strategies.  With more than a decade of applied experience in elite sport, he has worked with some of the world’s most successful teams and athletes, including Ryder Cup Team Europe, Harlequins Rugby, British Canoeing, NBA athletes, Premier League footballers, World Tour cyclists and professional boxers.
David holds a PhD in Behaviour Change, Design Thinking and Technology Innovation in Sports Nutrition from Liverpool John Moores University.  He is also an alumnus of the International Olympic Committee’s sports nutrition programme and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in the field.

In 2018, David co-founded Hexis with the vision of making world-class nutrition guidance accessible to athletes at every level.  By combining sports science, behavioural psychology and technology, Hexis delivers personalised nutrition recommendations that adapt to an athlete’s training demands, recovery needs and performance objectives.
