Tri Duong is technical manager for Animal Performance Solutions with Kerry. He holds a B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Penn State University and a Ph.D. in functional genomics from North Carolina State University and completed postdoctoral training at Washington State University. Dr. Duong previously served on the faculty in the Department of Poultry Science at Texas A&M University where his research program investigated host-microbe interactions and mechanisms important to functionality of probiotics and prebiotics in the gastrointestinal tract of poultry. Dr. Duong is a recipient of the Hy-line International Research award from the Poultry Science Association; holds 5 US patents; has published over 30 peer-reviewed research articles; and was a keynote presenter at the 30th Conference of the Indian Poultry Science Association.

Emerging science on postbiotics is showing a role in digestive health and even mood for humans, as well as the potential to improve the safety and efficiency of our food supply by improving animal health.
